The opportunity to supply apples from Ukraine will be provided in India. If earlier the phytosanitary norms of Ukraine and India were controversial, which is why the import of Ukrainian apples into the country was banned, now the phytosanitary authorities of India decided to establish the market for Ukrainian apples, starting this year’s harvest.

All established requirements should be recorded in the phytosanitary certificate and, first of all, relate to the temperature during the transportation of apples. Ukrainian apples will be allowed to the Indian market, if supplier adheres to a product temperature of 0 ° C for 13 days from the date of shipment in Ukraine and this is documented in a phytosanitary certificate.

As noted by experts, the Indian market can fully replace the Russian, which until recently was essential for Ukrainian sales.
